The Mayur (the peacock) earring opens with a fanned, feather-textured peacock stud at the top, its form rendered entirely in repoussé, before dropping into an arched, window-like panel set with two columns of deep garnet-toned stones. A fringe of small silver beads finishes the piece at its lowest edge.
